Obituary for Anthony Baccus Sr.

Anthony "TONY' Baccus Sr. age 65 of Holland, Ohio passed away on August 5, 2019. He was born one of fourteen siblings in Toledo, Ohio to Larrie and Mary (Ingram) Baccus on June 20, 1954. He was proceeded in death by his parents Larrie Baccus and Mary (Ingram) Baccus, and siblings; Donald Baccus, Dennis Baccus, Emery Baccus, Vernice Baccus, and Robert Baccus.

Anthony Baccus accepted Christ at a young age, while attending Calvery Baptist Church. He studied many religions on his quest for truth and knowledge. All roads led back to Christ.

Anthony "TONY" Baccus graduated from Edward Drummond Libbey High School in 1973. He enlisted with the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1974. Anthony returned home and joined Lee Esther (Walker) Baccus in a holy matrimony on July 1st, 1974. Together they gave birth to Erica (Baccus) Jackson, Philip Baccus, and Anthony Baccus Jr.

Anthony was a great soul and honorable man, a true teacher to whomever had an ear to hear. He loved sports and refused to pick a team. He would laugh and say "I'm with the winning team!"

Tony retired from Chrysler after 35 years of service. He then opened Esther's Alterations for his loving wife. Entrepreneurial ship always excited Tony; he loved being a business owner. Tony and Lee Esther shared 45 years of marriage.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory: Loving wife Lee Esther (Walker) Baccus, daughter Erica (Baccus) Jackson, sons; Philip (Ellamonique') Baccus, Anthony Baccus Jr., brothers; Wilbert (Janice) Baccus, Charles (Gwen)Baccus, Lennon Baccus, Larry Baccus and Kenneth (Shirley) Baccus, Johnnie (Lisa) Baccus, sisters; Verdell (Willie)Battle, Ruby Baccus, Lilly Ann Baccus, grandchildren; Elijah Jackson, Airielle Jackson, Isaiah Jackson, Zion Baccus, Daniel Baccus, Judah Baccus, great grandchild; Emaan Jackson. And a host of family and friends.
