Obituary for Christopher James Berry Sr.
Christopher J. Berry, Sr., also known as "Chico", was born on December 10, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio. He gained his wings September 17, 2019.
Chris graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School. A few years later, he attended Toledo Beauty Academy where he became a Master Cosmetologist. Chris enjoyed cutting and styling hair and just overall making others look and feel good about themselves. He was very active with NA Recovery; he helped to change and motivate a lot of lives with his committed involvement. Chris wore a big smile and enjoyed helping others along the way; he loved the kids!!!
He was preceded in death by mother, Barbara Russell, parents, Ernest Sr. and Geneva Berry; sisters, Tino Wyatt-Hammond and Teresa Wyatt.
Chris leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Dawn Freeman (Norell), Cherisse Burgess, Larece Knox, Christopher Berry, Jr, and Domanique Berry; grandchildren, Samoni Berry, Bryant and Brittaney Williams, Alysia Knox, Courtnie and Jerell Wainwright; brother, Ernest Jr. and Charles Berry; and sister, Sunceray Lamb.
