Obituary

Colette Danielle Brown affectionately known as "Letty", passed away Monday, September 30, 2019, at Kindred Hospital in Houston Texas.

She was born June 13, 1973, to Angus and Ruth Ann Brown in Toledo, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Angus James Brown.

Colette grew up in the Old West End area of Toledo, Ohio and attended Old Orchard Elementary School, Robinson Jr. High School, and Thomas A. DeVilbiss High School, until it closed in 1991. She completed her high school years in Cleveland, Ohio graduating from John Marshall High School in 1992.

Colette provided the world with an exemplary example of a life well-lived; worthy of returning to the presence of God.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Reginald Caldwell; her mother, Alexis Ruth Ann Brown; her children, Olyvia R. Hardnett, Halliyah M. Brown, and Gavyn T. Davis; her treasured grandson, Angus James Hardnett; and her siblings, Spring D. Lawson, Michelle Brown, Michael Brown, and Suzanne Brown. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law Pearl Denver and her step-children Latrice Caldwell and Alethea Ketterwell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 10:00 am, at The House of Day Funeral Home Chapel, 2550 Nebraska Avenue, Toledo, OH 43607. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio.
