Daryl, 58 years old, passed away on September 4, 2019. Daryl Gullatt was the first born son to the union of Hosey J. Gullatt, Jr. and Sarah L. Gullatt.
Daryl was a free spirited person; he loved life and family. He loved to help people no matter what the need was.
Daryl worked at IHOP Restaurant for many years, and left there to work as an Environmental Specialist at SORC (Sarah Outreach Recovery Center).
Daryl loved to dance the night away. He was a perfectionist in dancing; he could dance in a way that everyone stopped to watch him.
Daryl had many names that he loved to be called such as T.C. "Top Cat", Triple OG, 5 Star General, D'ster, and T.Bone.
Daryl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hosey and Adie Gullatt, Sr. and Arthur and Ethel Thomas; father, Hosey J. Gullatt, Jr.; mother, Sarah L. Gullatt Sanders; step-mother, Lucillie Gullatt; aunt, Naomi Thomas; and great-nephew, Lansing Waters.
Daryl leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters, LaJoyce "Cookie" Gullatt, Daphne Gullatt Tyree, Neville (Kevin) Gullatt Woodson, Tryna (Alvin Lee) Sanders, Sheila Eubanks, Liz Williams, Vanessa Seymore, Katherine Sanders, Betty Sanders, and Bridgette Sanders; brothers, Hosey Gullatt, III., Lloyd Gullatt, Nazareth Sanders, III, Vindarlon (Debbie) Gullatt, William Sanders, Samuel Sanders, and Matthew "Wayne" Sanders; Honorary father, Nazareth Sanders, Jr., whom Daryl resided with upon his passing, and whom Daryl adored and loved dearly; nieces, Lanna Waters, Jamella Gullatt (Meeky), Tia Gullatt-Allen, LaDraia Gullatt, Sheena (Kyle) McCuller, JaBrea Smoot, Sa'Cora Smoot, and Natasha Lee; nephews, Terry (LaTosha) Gullatt, Kenneth Gullatt, Shamario Gullatt Jenkins, , Sha'Ran Gullatt,,Hosey Gullatt, IV., Matthew Gullatt, John Smoot, Quintin Gullatt, Russell De'Romano, and George Swain; special cousins, David Brown, Kenny Brown and Earl Fair; special friends, Robin Burt Carouthers, Rita Hill, Reggie McCellan, Benard O'Neil, Denise Davis, David and Kimyana Lewis, and the SORC Family, and "Jackie"of Swanton, Ohio.
