I met Ms. B, as I affectionately called her over 30 years ago when I became close friends with her daughter. Throughout those years, I have so many fond memories of her. She was such a giving person. She loved to garden and she planted and maintained a large garden for years. Anybody was welcomed to get vegetables from her garden, all they had to do was ask. She supplied a lot of friends and neighbors throughout the summer from that garden. I often teased her about the corn she grew, cause the corn stalks were taller than she was and when she was out tending them, you couldn't even see her. She loved her garden and maintained it until her health no longer let her. We also shared our love for dogs. She always had a dog
or 2 or 3, and until her grandson got old enough to drive I would take her to the Vet for their appointments. She took such good care of her dogs. On her birthday I used to call and sing happy birthday to her. She got such a kick out of me singing happy birthday, that it became a tradition that she looked forward to. I have so many great memories of Ms. B and I am going to really miss her...I do already. ❤
