Obituary for Kenneth D. Busby

Kenneth Duane Busby Bey was born on May 31, 1959 to the union of Delores and Salome Busby Bey. He departed this life on Nov. 27, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was proceeded in death by his father, Salome and a loving and devoted stepfather, Leon Haywood. Kenny was well known and attended Toledo Publlic Schools and graduated from Divilbis High School in 1978. He also received a letter of merit for outstanding participation in junior varsity track. He was the second son of four.

Kenny accepted Christ at an early age at St. Mark's Baptist Church. He later joined Greater St. Mary's Baptist Church and sung in the Johnnie Love and Company ensemble. He was loyal and truthful to Christ his entire life. Kenny worked at various jobs in the Toledo area which consisted of the Red Cross, Inverness Club, American Motors (Jeep), Eopa where he retired from. After a short illness, the Lord whispered to Kenny and said "the battle is no longer yours". He departed this life to spend eternity with the Master who he loved so much.

He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Delores Busby Bey; brothers, Nicholas of Arkron, OH, Issac, Gary (Rhonda) Busby Bey; special sister-in-law, Rhonda Busby Bey; special sisters and brother, Karen, Sandy, Lionel all of Inkster, MI; special uncle, Rev. Danny Richardson.
