Stacye Lynn Griffin, 56, of Toledo, Ohio departed from this life on Nov 12, 2019 at Advance Health Care Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 3,1963 to Mattie P. Griffin (Richardson) and Abe Benefield.
Stacye was proceeded in death by Mother, Mattie P. Griffin (Richardson), Father, Abe Benefield, Grandmother, Beatrice Clark-Singleton, Grandfather, Bobby Lee Griffin, Husband, Michael Bumphis, Aunt, Velma Singleton, Uncle, Robert Mason and Cousin, Greg Griffin.
Stacye was a loving person filled with life. She was a fighter and a challenger and would let you know if she did not like you.
Before she became sick, she loved going to church, praying, cooking, taking care of her son and listening to gospel music. Her greatest joy was when she found the Lord. In Him she found peace and freedom.
After a lengthy illness, she went home to be with the Lord. She will always be remembered for having a warm and engaging spirit that touched the lives of many.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Son, Terrance L. Bumphis; Granddaughter, Trinitie M. Lynn Bumphis; Sister and Caregiver, Laura D. Benefield-Griffin; Brothers, Anthony Griffin, Gerald (Tammy) Griffin, Paul Weston; Aunts, Bessie Mason and Erma Hill; Dad, Stanley Williams; Special Spiritual Sister, Marion Graham and a host of other family and friends.
