Obituary for Vick O Doyle
Vick O. Doyle, entered into eternal rest, Monday, September 9th, 2019.
Vick was born on November 9th, 1952, in Dyersburg, TN, to Lola and Nathan Doyle. He was raised by Sudie and Mac Robinson. He graduated from Swanton High School class of 1971. He was employed at PRESTOLE EVERLOCK, INC. as a Press Operator for several years. He later transitioned to North Star Steel, also known as Gerdeau, where he held multiple positions and retired as a Crane Operator. He married Patricia J. Figg on December 21st, 1972. They raised three (3) boys and one (1) daughter. Mr. Doyle enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Family Baptist Church.
Our father would open his heart and home to anyone in need of food, shelter, advice, love, and at many, many times, a stiff drink.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Lavenia Smith and Michelle Reed.
He is survived by his sisters, Pam Williams, Mary Robinson and Virginia Ross Reed; brothers, Barry Smith, Gary Smith, Kelvin Reed, Eric Reed, and Greg Smith; daughter, Victoria Doyle; sons, Patrick (Chris) Doyle and his wife, Rhonda, Joseph, and Vincent Doyle; grand-daughter, Taylor; and grandsons, Christian and Anthanee Doyle.
