Obituary for Wesley Earl Moore

Wesley Earl Moore, better known to many by Earl, was born in Robersonville, NC, to J. "Louise" Purvis Moore and Edward Hopkins on July 6, 1956. He was called from his labor on August 3, 2019, at Hospice of NWO - Perrysburg.

He was an outgoing person. There was never a stranger that he met. Earl was loved by all. He would give you his last dollar.

He was employed by Neighborhood Properties.

Earl received his education in the New York and New Jersey Public School System. He received his GED Diploma in 2010.

In 1983, he was united in Holy matrimony to Robbie Washington; they later divorced. To their union, two daughters were born.

He joined Randall Chapel Unified Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. After arriving in Toledo, he joined Cornerstone Church, where he also served as an usher there until his health declined.

Preceding him in death is his sister, Debbie Moore.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Louise Moore; stepfather, James Moore of Robersonville, NC; father, Edward (Jacqueline) Hopkins of Stantonburg, NC; three daughters, Luchell "Mary" Epps of Queens, NY, Mia Moore and Chanta (Kevin) Boggs of East Orange NJ; two sisters, Joyce (Hakien) James of Rahway, NJ, Dana Hopkins of NC; two brothers, James Moore Jr. of White Plains, NY, Christopher Moore of Robersonville, NC; two grandchildren of Queens, NY, Tysi Garland and Anthony Holman; two aunts, Roenell Powell of Ruville, NC, Janie Broughton of Union, NJ; two uncles, Kelly Purvis of Greensboro, NC, Joseph Purvis of Ruville, NC; great aunt, Betty Barnes of Richmond, VA; one great uncle, Robert Little of Willingboro, NJ; one devoted cousin (brother), Mark Robinson of Toledo, OH; and many other loving cousins, friends, and church family.
