William Edward Ensley, affectionately known as Billy, was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 2, 1953, to the late Rosetta Ensley and William Johnson. Billy departed this life life peacefully on September 26, 2019, in Toledo, Ohio.

He attended Toledo Public Schools.

Billy developed his love for Christ, under the leadership of Elder Eugene Harris Sr., his pastor here at Rock of Praise C.O.G.I.C.

Billy had a gift for singing and music. He formed a group called Ross Connection. Together, they recorded a record. He also had a passion for style and cars. His presence on this earth will be sorely missed.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Ike and Alberta Ensley; uncles, Junebug, Bay, Ralph; nephew, Juan; cousin, Ferrell; and sister, Rhonda Anderson (Walt). Left to cherish his his memories, his son, Victor; daughters, Aretha, Marketa, Latasha, Kenesha, and Benita; sisters, Gwen Ensley, Carol Ensley, Roz Ensley; brother, Tony Ensley; uncle, Len Gallagher; aunt, Patricia Ensley Coker (Tony); and companion of 10 years, Shirley Ulis; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and grandchildren.
